Brief Description

Army Recruiting Office, Varanasi, invites online applications from unmarried male candidates from the districts of Azamgarh, Ballia, Chandauli, Deoria, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Mau, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Sant Ravidas Nagar, and Varanasi for the Agniveer intake for the recruiting year 2025-26 under the Agnipath Scheme. The selection process consists of two phases: Phase I is an online Common Entrance Exam (CEE), and Phase II is a Recruitment Rally which includes physical fitness and medical tests.

Payment Mode:

  • The fee can be paid online through the HDFC portal using Maestro, MasterCard, VISA, Rupay Cards (Credit/Debit), Internet Banking, or UPI. Bank charges will be extra.

Age Limit (as on 01/10/2004 to 01/04/2008)

Candidates must be between 17.5 to 21 years of age. The date of birth of the candidate should be between 01 October 2004 and 01 April 2008 (both days inclusive).

Agniveer (General Duty - GD)
Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. LMV Driving License holders will be given preference for driver requirements.
Agniveer (Technical)
10+2 / Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. OR 10+2 with Science and ITI/Diploma in relevant technical trade.
Agniveer (Clerk / Store Keeper Technical)
10+2 / Intermediate pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Book Keeping is mandatory.
Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass)
Simple 10th pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% in each subject.
Agniveer Tradesmen (8th Pass)
Simple 8th pass. No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% in each subject.

Phase 1: Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE)

  • An online test will be conducted for all candidates.
  • Shortlisted candidates, based on merit, will be called for Phase II.

Phase 2: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) at Rally Site

  • 1.6 Km Run: Upto 60 Marks (Group I: < 5 min 30 sec, Group II: 5 min 31 sec to 5 min 45 sec).
  • Beam (Pull Ups): Upto 40 Marks (10 Pull ups - 40 marks, 9 - 33, 8 - 27, 7 - 21, 6 - 16).
  • 9 Feet Ditch: Need to Qualify.
  • Zig-Zag Balance: Need to Qualify.

Salary / Stipend (Agniveer Package)

1st Year₹ 30,000/- (In Hand: ₹ 21,000)
2nd Year₹ 33,000/- (In Hand: ₹ 23,100)
3rd Year₹ 36,500/- (In Hand: ₹ 25,550)
4th Year₹ 40,000/- (In Hand: ₹ 28,000)

On completion of 4 years, a one-time **'Seva Nidhi' package** of approximately **₹ 10.04 Lakhs** (plus interest) will be paid to the Agniveers.

  3. Online registration and submission of applications will be from 12 March 2025 to 10 April 2025.
  4. Pay the examination fee of ₹250/- online.
  5. Candidates are required to have an active email and mobile number for communication.
  6. A recent photograph must be uploaded on the website.
